Jersey Shore's Dj Pauly D and the show's parent network MTV became focused today on a singular goal... To get Pauly to 1 Million followers on Twitter.

Recent posts on Pauly's account (which currently sits at around 875,000 followers) said the following:

Video - Pauly D And Facebook Cause Mayhem At University Of Rhode Island

Holy Mayhem! Pauly D showed up last night to visit a friend at the University of Rhode Island, and within minutes, all hell broke lose!

It only took a split second for someone to catch a glimpse of him, and post it on their Facebook page, the rest is history. Within moments, the post was reposted, and reposted, and reposted until over 1000 students gathered to try to get a view of the Jersey Shore castmate in person.

Pauly's security team assisted him out of the mob scene with the help of local law enforcement. Pauly is now not allowed on campus unless he coordinates his visit with local police in advance.

Pretty cool......

Pauly D Will Not Be Fired!

It seems The Jersey Shore's Pauly D will not be getting fired on tv anytime soon as he has turned down an offer to appear on next seasons "The Celebrity Apprentice".

After being approached by the "Apprentice" Producers, Pauly has decided to stay focused on his new reality show that has already begun filming. His show will focus on following his life as he travels as a DJ from location to location and will air on MTV.

It kinda sucks that we wont get to see Pauly's plastic mess "blowout" next to Donald Trumps wig real hair in the boardroom....

In a deleted scene from last night's episode of MTV's "The Jersey Shore", Vinnie asks Pauly for the secret on creating his trademark "blowout".

It's pretty easy to see why this was deleted, but to put it in Vinnie's words, "I'm just gonna wear a hat."

Pauly D Gets His Own MTV Show!

According to Radaronline.com, Jersey Shore's Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio will begin shooting his own show for MTV within a month. The show will feature DelVecchio as he dj's for various events and venues.

Although the name of the show has not yet been announced, we humbly suggest "Pauly D's Dirty Hamster Tour"
