On Saturday, March 26th "Celebrity Apprentice" contestant and controversial Major League Baseball star, Jose Canseco will reutrn to the Celebrity Boxing ring in Hollywood, Fl. at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino's Passion Nightclub.
In Canseco's last bout, he lost to former NFL star Vai Sikahema in a battle in Atlantic City, NJ in the first round. This time out, the larger-than-life Canseco is set to square off against Celebrity Boxing Trainer Billy Padden on a card that includes a female undercard that includes Devon James, a woman linked to the Tiger Woods scandal that brought down his marriage (and apparantly his golf game as well).
As if the boxing card itself isn't unique enough, the event's sponsor, Celpad.com is an innovator in wireless charging pad technology - Think of charging your Ipod, cell phone or similar device just by laying it on what is essentially a souped up mousepad - no plugging it in... Sounds like the future to us, and after we checked out the product's website, we thought it deserved a plug here....
