Lindsay Lohan Backs Out Of Letterman Appearance Set Up By Her Father - Michael Is Pissed!

It was announced that she would be on Letterman tonight, then she Tweeted she would not, and had no idea how the rumor got started, then we found out the story....

It seems Lindsay Lohan's dad, Michael, set up the appearance with the Letterman people only to be surprised by her Twitter response..

According to the most recent update:

Michael says Lindsay "knew full well" about the booking. They supposedly discussed the logistics of doing the segment via satellite and everything. But then, Lindsay's reps stepped in and shut the whole thing down, without offering Papa Lohan any explanation. Naturally, Mike is pissed, telling sources:

"Anything positive that I bring into her life … [her people] try to nix it."

Either way, there never seems to be a dull moment when your last name is Lohan...

Lindsay Lohan Involved In Physical Altercation At Betty Ford Clinic - Cops Called, Lindsay Labled A "Suspect"

Punching, grabbing and finger pointing.... sounds like the set of an adult film, but in reality, it's the description of what went down between Lindsay Lohan and a staff member at the Betty Ford Clinic where the troubled star is residing for a court ordered rehab stint.

According to reports, Lindsay and a staff member got into a confrontation after Lindsay returned 10 minutes late as described by her curfew. Upon her return, it is alleged Lindsay was grabbed by a staff member, and pushed her in retaliation and the cops were called.

This all leads to the former star being labeled a "suspect" in a criminal battery investigation, and Lindsay's father, Michael, pushing for his daughter to press charges as well.

Bottom line is that things have tendency get nasty when you have a confrontation like this with a troubled star, but even more so when you are a troubled star that had a confrontation with an (allegedly) overzealous staff member at a rehab clinic.

Lindsay And Dad Together For First Time In 7 Months

Lindsay Lohan has Reunited with her father Michael for the first time in 7 months. It occurred over the weekend at the California rehab center where Lindsay is currently residing.

A report from Radaronline says the reunion was emotional and there were a few tears, kisses and hugs when the father and daughter got together. They also spent some time shopping together at a local mall nearby.

According to the report, Michael said his daughter is progressing extremely well, and he is extremely proud. Outside of that comment, Michael kept to his vow of not speaking publicly about his daughter.

Maybe this is the start of the new beginning Michael has been hoping for..

CelebrityBomb.com has learned that Michael Lohan will be announced at the "Special Guest Referee" in an upcoming "Celebrity Big Bang Boxing / Wrestling Battle Of The Reality Stars" celebrity boxing match involving MTV's "Jersey Shore" alum Angelina Pivarnick and Kerry Schwartz form VH1's "Frank The Entertainer".

In a facebook post last night, the event's promoter posted "Michael Lohan will now be Referee for Kerry Schwartz vs Angelina from Jersey shore." 

Lohan will be adding to the mayhem and circus atmosphere of the event which, in addition to Angelina and Kerry, also includes FOX's "Hell's Kitchen" Chefs Van Hurd and Robert Hesse in a "Battle of the Chefs". Both are from the show's controversial 6th season.

Hurd and Hesse are arguably among Hell's Kitchen's most popular contestants from a season where Hesse was forced to leave the show due to health concerns, but returned the next season to compete again.

The event also featuring Beach 101.7's DJ Joey Jammz and other personalities, is scheduled to take place on December 4th at the Trump Taj Mahal "Casbah Club" in Atlantic City NJ. Tickets to the event are available here.

There will also be an open to the public press conference held at The Sapphire Steak House in Manhattan tonight at 7pm where the contestants will be fielding questions from the media.  

Breaking News - Lindsay Arrives At Court, So Does Michael

The notoriously late Lindsay Lohan has arrived to court in Beverly Hills a whopping 20 minutes (plus) early to hear the sentence that will be handed down by judge Elden Fox in a probation violation hearing that is scheduled to take place at 8:30 am.

Minutes after the starlet entered the courthouse through the metal detectors, Her estranged father, Michael, was spotted outside by the same entrance.

It will be interesting to see if Michael will be able to keep his word regarding not giving any statements regarding his daughter once the hearing is concluded.

Michael Lohan Reportedly Attacked In Santa Monica

Santa Monica law enforcement sources confirmed they responded to a 911 call at 9:56 last night to find Michael Lohan shirtless with scratches on his neck.

The celebrity day explained that as he was getting into his car, he was approached from behind and someone attempted to choke him. Lohan went on to say that he fought with the attacker for a few minutes before the assailant ran off. The attacker was described as a 50-60(?) year old male wearing a black running suit.

It appears Michael suffered no major injuries (or permanent damage from the attacker's cane) that would keep him from following today's legal proceedings that will determine if his daughter Lindsay will be sent back to Jail.

*Update* - A recent article on tmz reports the following account: 

"Michael claims he was attacked outside his home in Santa Monica, CA. Michael told police ... about an hour before the incident, he received a threatening phone call. We're told shortly after the call, Michael went out for cigarettes -- that's when he says the attack occurred.
Mike explained to police when he went to open his car door, he was jumped from behind. We're told the suspect, whom Michael says is in his 50s or 60s, began choking him and had some kind of sharp object which he used to slice Michael's neck.  Michael says the knife penetrated his skin and caused substantial bleeding. "

Michael Lohan "I Was Wrong For Offending My Ex Wife And My Children"

Michael Lohan has sent a statement to various media outlets in which he states he will no longer comment on anything regarding his daughter Lindsay or ex-wife Dina and he says he was wrong for offending his ex wife and kids. The statement sent by Michael is below.

After serious thought and conversation last night, with someone who means alot to me. I am making this statement and fully intend on living by it.

With all due respect to those who have both gotten on my nerves for reporting things that weren't true, ( as well as things that were),I want to make a public statement that I will not be commenting on ANYTHING relating to my daughter Lindsay, or ANYTHING my ex wife Dina, or any "sources" related to her, might say.
After all the things said and the incidents which have transpired, I realize that no matter how wrong or right I may have been, at the end of the day, I was wrong for offending my ex wife and my children.

Because of the spotlight and scrutiny we have been under, as well as my own "pride", which has caused pain to my mother, (deceased father), brother, sisters and their sibling, I realize how my statements and actions have had a ripple effect on all of them. If it was me alone, it would be one thing, but I'm not. The things I have said and done, have cased hurt , pain and embarrassment for all of them.

That being said, I make this statement in humble supplication. And NO MATTER what accusations, lies or conjecture are disseminated to the public,about me, for the sake of the ones I love and with hope of creating peace, I WILL NOT respond , in ANY way, to what is said or done, to me.

MY family"s health and well being matters too much.

For the sake of those I offended, I apologize and ask their forgiveness. But even if they can't find it in their heart to forgive, like I forgive them. I KNOW that God will have the last word and defend me in His own way.

Embattled Celebrity Boxing Promoter Damon Feldman decided not to "take it to the ring" late last night when confronted by a disgruntled performer during a weigh in / press conference for an upcoming match, and CelebrityBomb.com has the EXCLUSIVE video.

Feldman was confronted by a man dressed in drag that would only identify himself as "Michaela" during the event held at South Philly Bar And Grill in South Philadelphia. During the verbal altercation, Michaela made numerous references to being pulled from an upcoming card because he "did not sell 25 tickets" as apparantly required by Feldman to take part in the match.

In what seemed (to us) to be an extraordinary lack of patience, Feldman (An undefeated former professional boxer), struck the cross-dressing performer with a hard left to the face that knocked him to the floor and leaving the performer stunned.

The press conference was being held to promote a match taking place tonight between Melody Pinkerton (Star of VH1's "Frank The Entertainer" show) and Lachia Damas (best known for losing her boyfriend to Snooki on MTV's "The Jersey Shore"). As if that isn't enough to digest, the match will be refereed by Josh Colon, star of MTV's "The Real World DC".

If that paints the idea of an absolute circus to you, it shouldn't be surprising. Feldman has been linked in the past to such names as Michael Lohan, Jose Canseco, Danny Bonnaduce, Michelle McGee, and Tiger Woods mistress Devon James, just to name a few.... You get the picture....

Michael Lohan Filing For Conservatorship Over Lindsay

"You bet your ass I'm filing a conservatorship" Michael told Radaronline.com. Michael is looking to file the conservatorship to combat the same move being planned by Lindsay's mother, Dina along with Business Manager Lou Taylor. Michael told Radar that he consulted an attorney to find out his options if Dina were to file, and the attorney advised him his best option would be to file first.

In the interview, Michael said he does not want to be installed as the actual conservator (as Britney Spears father was in her situation). He said he wants to be installed as a petitioner instead, and have and independant third party to act as conservator over Lindsay's person and estate.

Lindsay is reportedly currently residing at an in-patient rehab center in California, and is awaiting a court date to resolve a probation violation for failing 2 mandated drug srceens.

Category: "I never saw that coming" - Brittney Jones (Ashton Kutcher's reported mistress) apparantly has a sex tape floating around according to Radaronline.com. Go figure... We are totally shocked seeing as how we figured the nude pictures of her covered in after-relations happiness were as far as this respectable young woman would allow herself to go.

Category: "I will stand here and SCREAM until you LISTEN to me!" - Michael Lohan goes batshit in a press conference after Lindsay is remanded to jail. Michael insists again (as he has done since the beginning of this situation) that Lindsay would be better served by utilizing a rehab program than being sent to jail. Lets take a moment to review some facts here: 1. Lindsay violated previous probation orders after her SCRAM bracelet showed alcohol consumption. 2. Lindsay has been charged with drug possession in the past. 3. Lindsay recently failed 2 court ordered drug screens which led up to these current circumstances. 4. We are too tired to continue to list these things as we are sure you get the point. Bottom line? We know it may not be a popular opinion, but maybe, just maybe, someone should listen to Michael on this one.

Lindsay Lohan's father Michael has come to his daughter's aid by (of course) blaming her "enablers" for her failing recent court ordered drug screens. It would be interesting to note that the court will most likely disagree with Michael, and find that Lindsay actually did have at least some responsibility for the cocaine that found it's way up her nostrils.
