American Media, The publisher for "The National Enquirer" and "The Star" (among other publications) has announced it will be filing for bankruptcy protection in the next few weeks.
The company said operations will not be affected while the company undergoes the debt reorganization.
Things havent been looking too good for any type of news publication ever since the instant information age hit the internet! Why would you pay for a printout of something that you have already read about or seen on the web last week??
