Lil Wayne was released this morning from New York's Rikers Island Correctional Facility after serving 8 month on weapons related charges. He was originally sentenced to one year.
Wayne has been able to remain at the top of the charts during his stint in the pokey by releasing previously recorded tunes throughout his time upstate, but plans are in the works for a new album to hit
