After last night's episode of "The Jersey Shore", viewers were left with lingering questions of how or why Mike went off like a complete tool on his housemates while appearing to be a jealous school child.

Mike attempted to defend his actions with the following statements throughout the night on his Twitter page:

"If it calls for me to be the villain on Jersey shore I will gladly be! You need to be bad in order to know what good is! Sitch GTL"

"Just how TV works!1 week ur the hero, the next, the villain!I am who I am ,I do what I do with no regrets!Im the Situation n Im keep bein me!"

"Say hello to the bad guy! Situation GTL"

He then went from defending his actions to appearing to take responsibility:

"no ones perfect ! I try to b, but im not, if I made a mistake,I have learned from it moved forward and have become a better person.Sitch"

And to finish it off, he went from taking responsibility to resignation:

"NotHappy theWay thingsWere portrayed, people that know me,know where my heart n intentionsR.Im upsetNcontemplating retirement from RealityJS4"

Yes, that does say "Season 4". Season 3 had already been filmed when the cast returned to New Jersey after their stint in Miami. Would anyone still even be interested in a "Season 4" by the time it would air?
