The White House has reported that President Obama will star in an upcoming episode of "Mythbusters" on the Discovery channel.
The episode will center around re-testing the myth of the "Archimedes death ray" in which ships were said to have used mirrors to pinpoint the sun's rays to destroy their enemies. This myth has been tested and "busted" in past episodes, however it has been highly requested by fans for another go, and was chosen by the White House because it has high scientific value for children.
The episode will air Dec. 8, and there is still no word on how Secret Service is going to try to manage keeping the leader of the free world safe in such close proximity to a "Death Ray"
