More "American Idol" Changes coming.... Including Online Voting

Sept. 22, 2010 - Los Angeles, California, USA - Sep 22, 2010 - Los Angeles, California, USA - American Idol Judges Musician STEVEN TYLER, Actress/Singer JENNIFER LOPEZ, Personality/Judge RANDY JACKSON at the American Idol Season 10 Press Conference held at the Forum, Los Angeles. © Red Carpet Pictures

Aside from possibly the worst judging panel in the history of judging panels, there are further changes coming to the next season of American Idol.

The new season will include changes to the show's format, contestant packages (No not that kind of "pakhage") and other items such as less audition shows, but the most significant change to the show is the introduction to online voting.

Sounds like a good idea until producers realize how easy it is to use automated programs to cast millions of votes for a single performer. We figure that instead of recognizing this fatal flaw, Idol will simply aspouse that they have gotten so many votes this season, it appears that every living human being on the planet simply voted 40,000 times. Then they will call Coke and raise the fee to have the judges sip water from their branded cups.....

Kid Rock On Steven Tyler's American Idol Sellout - "He Just Threw It All Out The Window"

Kid Rock is not exactly thrilled about Steven Tyler's decision to join the judging ranks of "American Idol", and doesn't hold his feelings back in his recent Entertainment Weekly interview.

“I think it’s the stupidest thing he’s ever done in his life,” he told the magazine. Rock continued:

“He’s a sacred American institution of rock ‘n’ roll, and he just threw it all out the window. Just stomped on it and set it on fire.”

American Idol Decides To Scare The Hell Out Of It's Viewers With New Judging Panel

Just when you think it couldn't get any worse than having to sit through last year's abortion judging panel, American Idol's 14 remaining viewers will be treated this season to none other than the always visually pleasing Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler, and Jennifer "I own the Miami Dolphins" Lopez along side of returning judge Randy Jackson. The announcement was made by Fox live on streaming internet from the American Idol stage, and the show was emceed by Dick Clark Ryan Seacrest. In a better-than-scripted turn of events, a technical glitch caused the entire stream to run without sound. No such luck with the streaming video.
